The Chicano Moratorium Exhibit Commemorates the Events of August 29, 1970
On August 29, 1970, Los Angeles police attacked a group of peaceful protesters in the city's largest anti-war demonstration, resulting in the deaths of three people. The Chicano Moratorium Exhibit is part of a weeklong series of commemorative events.
