Fifth grade students from Logan Elementary presented on the results of a survey on quality teachers. Students also wrote their thoughts on why they think a Students' Bill of Rights is important.

It is important to have rules because if we don't have rules everyone will cheat in all of the games that there are in school. It is important to have good rules too because boys or girls will do bad things. I think it is important for the principal because we will learn lots of things. We need to have rights because if we don't have rights all of the adult will be doing bad stuff to us. I think we should have good rules because if there is an emergency we would get hurt. I think all of the school should have computers and lots of books. I think some schools are not fair.

It is important to be safe in the school, and we have to have good teachers, good computers, good reading level books, be in a good place when you are in danger, and also be kind to people. Sometimes you should be nice to people if they are nice to you. Also we need some good safety rules and help the teacher if they need help.
