This is the powerpoint presentation I shared at Saturday's meeting. It begins with a few slides documenting early California laws on school segregation, then turns to how patterns of inequality played out in multi-racial schools in LA in the 1920s-1940s, and concludes with Crawford and its aftermath.

This presentation walks through the battle over school segregation in California from 1870 to 1947. Note: It covers some of the same ground (with some of the same slides) as the Teaching Legacy presentation. But there are some differences as well.
