The maps below were created by Jordan High School students under the instruction of their teacher, Herschel Sarnoff, using Geographic Information Systems software. These students used data from three different sources: Census data, Califonia Department of Education data, and results from surveys designed by Teaching to Change LA. These maps illustrate a comparison study of statistics on ethnicity, income, computer access in schools and internet access from students' homes in the Los Angeles area.
