The Chicano Moratorium Exhibit Commemorates the Events of August 29, 1970
On August 29, 1970, Los Angeles police attacked a group of peaceful protesters in the city's largest anti-war demonstration, resulting in the deaths of three people. The Chicano Moratorium Exhibit is part of a weeklong series of commemorative events.

Behind Closed Doors: An Investigation into the State of the Facilities at Belmont High School
Students from Belmont High School investigated students' opinions on the Belmont facilities. These students found that more than half the students surveyed believe that classrooms need repair, hallways are overcrowded, and bathrooms are unsanitary. |

Students from Jordan Senior High School use Geographic Information Systems (GIS) maps to examine the relationship between high school test scores, school resources, and student demographics. |

Quality Teacher Survey:
Fifth grade students from Logan Elementary conducted a survey on quality teachers in which they found, among other data, that 71 students believe that their teacher does not let them read at least once a day.
